Section 1.
The library shall be designated and known as “Lawton Public Library”.
Section 2.
The purpose of this organization shall be to establish, maintain, and operate a public library for the Village of Lawton, Lawton Community Schools and a portion of Porter Township.
Section 3.
The activities of this organization shall be limited to charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposes as set forth for tax-exempt institutions under Section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code 3 of 1954 or the corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law.
