Section 1.
The Board shall have the power to appoint and employ a suitable Library Director. The Board shall seek input from the Director to hire assistants or other employees. The Board shall set their compensation, and shall have the power to remove such appointees or employees at any time.
Section 2.
The Library Director shall be considered an ex-officio member of the Board, and shall attend all Board meetings.
Section 3.
The Library Director shall enforce and observe such polices for the governing of the Library as may be established by the Board. This person shall be responsible for the direction and governing of the Library staff, within guidelines as adopted by the Board. (See Addendum D)
