Director will follow MiOSHA requirements for staff and patrons needs and report to board members at regularly scheduled board meetings.
A. Sanitation
Director and staff will follow all recommended MiOSHA guidelines to clean and sanitize the building, especially common surfaces, high-traffic areas, and breakroom, in accordance with CDC guidance.
B. Hygiene
Director will offer staff training on appropriate hand washing and PPE use, and disinfection of building.
C. Social Distancing
Director will determine social distancing requirements in effect by state and local agencies and implement how these requirements will work for the library.
- Director will follow and post all MiOSHA guidelines implementing mask requirements for staff and patrons.
D. Positive Case Protocol
Library will close for two (2) weeks for sterilization of building if employee has tested positive for Covid-19.
- Director will alert media of closure.
- Staff will be paid for regularly scheduled work days with Board approval.
E. Administrative Controls
To be governed by Board Members at scheduled meetings.
- Director will determine hours of library operation with Board approval.
- Director will implement Social Distancing.
- Director will review State and local requirements for masks and PPE equipment.
- Director will enforce State and local requirements.
- Director will determine services to be offered with Board approval.
- Director will post signage to discourage ill patrons entering library.
- Director will offer staff training for enforcement of State and local requirements.
- Director will offer plexiglass shields, masks and disinfection for staff protection.
- Director will train all employees in MiOSHA rules of conduct for Covid related viruses.
